I thought I was gonna hate it....but it was awesome. Totally unexpected.

I absolutely loved this movie.
When I saw the previews, I had no interest. But my boss told me I had to see it. Not at all what I expected.

I felt the same way. Wife wanted to go, wasn't expecting much, thought it was fantastic.

one of my friends saw it and we have the same taste in movies. I really thought he was going to say it was no big deal, but he said it was one of the best movies he has ever seen.

I went thinking it was some sort of musical. Wasn't anything like I was expecting - excellent movie.

Most Bollywood flicks are like musicals. The final dance sequence during the credits is a nod to this practice.
I watch a number of Bollywood flicks, and honestly fast forward past the song and dance scenes.

This wasn't a Bollywood movie, and Danny Boyle doesn't seem like the type to direct a musical. I was expecting something good because I thought his previous works were pretty good, particularly 28 Days Later.

at first i had no desire to see it til i was told what the plot was then i thought it sounded like a cool concept. it certainly was and was a great movie.
