When A Stranger Calls Back (made in 1992 or 1993). Very underrated flick if you ask me.

There is a movie that came out in 2001 called "Session 9" that I thought was really creepy. It's not gory or violent. It's more of a psychological thriller than a horror movie. The plot is about a group of men hired to remove asbestos at an abandoned mental hospital where some very bad things happened many years before. They filmed the movie at a real mental hospital that had been shut down, and it has to be one of the creepiest places ever. To this day, I'm still not 100% sure who or what "Simon" was. Watch the movie and you'll see what I'm talking about.

"The Haunting of Emily Rose" for sure.
It took my girlfriend 3 days to watch the whole movie.

Rent the movie Unrest---it was one of the after dark horror fest 2007 films. I thought it was scary.
