i almost quit watching this show about 6 episodes back, but like terminator and dollhouse i thought it really picked up the last few episodes of the season. i think they need to avoid the "stand alone" episodes and stick more to the overarching plot in season 2. the whole idea of battling alternate realities is a really interesting premise and this first season did a great job of laying the foundation. also, really liked the angle they took with peter at the end as it makes a lot sense with what we've already known about him.

So what exactly happened to Peter as a child? Who is this Peter?

Great Point. You kind of get the feeling that he never really "fit in" anywhere and now the reason is that he shouldn't be here in the 1st place.
