Ok so I bank with a local “big bank” and I ask my wife to check up on a pay check deposit which I made Friday which has not been credited today. She calls the customer service and can’t get a satisfactory answer so the CSR just hangs up on her. She wasn’t being a bitch, nor was she yelling or cursing, she was just seeking clarification on our questions/.We call back and the bank can’t track which of their reps hung up on us, because the rep did not log the call. Now I have about had it with banks here seems I am 0 for 3 in choosing the right place to put my money. So I come to the money board with hat in hand asking for your advice on choosing a new financial institution. I am looking seriously at Campus Federal, what do you guys think?

I fired Chase Bank and moved to Iberia Bank 4 months ago. I've been pleased with their customer service. They don't have all the bells and whistles Chase does but I've had a couple of minor incidents with my account there which the branch manager cleared up completely to my satisfaction without any hassles.

I can't speak on Campus Federal...sorry.

Thanks, I've fired Neighbors, Regions, and I am about to fire Capital One. I'm tired of firing banks. I don't ask for much, just common courtesy and fair dealings.

I have been relatively happy with wells fargo, but I would really like to move my money to a bank that hasn't taken any gov't handouts.

I have been thinking about switching to a credit union, but I have done some complex transactions in the past and worry about them supporting it.

I've been with Campus Federal for 5 years. Up until about a year ago I found some difficulty when I was out of town, now they have no ATM fees and a deposit from home feature, so in theory you never have to go to an actual bank anymore.
