Best SEC Baseball Teams All-Time

My top 2 would be LSU and Alabama. Alabama has the most all time wins, leads the all-time series with every SEC team, has won the most regular season SEC championships, and I think they are second to LSU in SEC tournament wins. Obviously, LSU has been superior to every team the past 25 years. With all those national Championships and SEC titles they are number 1 all time in my book. Including these 2, who would be your top 5 all-time in the SEC?

1. LSU - for obvious reasons
2. Georgia - only other SEC team to win an NCAA title, also has multiple CWS appearances and a runner-up finish
3. Alabama - multiple CWS runner-up finishes, good CWS history, lots of SEC titles
4. South Carolina - multiple CWS runner-up finishes, good CWS history, not much SEC history, though
5. Tennessee - has a CWS runner-up finish, multiple CWS appearances

MSU earned SEC Championships in 1948, 1949, 1965, 1966, 1970, 1971, 1979, 1985, 1987, and 1989, and SEC Tournament Championships in 1979, 1985, 1987, 1990, 2001, and 2005. State has also earned appearances in 29 NCAA Baseball Regionals and made it to the College World Series 8 times, finishing as high as 3rd in 1985.
We don't even make your top five?

never made it to a CWS finals.
MSU is a great program, no doubt.
I suppose they could fit in the top 5 of the SEC, but the fact is they have never made the CWS finals ever.
LSU, Georgia, Alabama, South Carolina, Tennessee, Arkansas and Florida have all made the CWS finals at least once.

LSU and Florida. It's all about what have you done for me lately, not living in the past, as Alabama always does.

If your basing it on CWS final appearances and not the programs entire body of work, you have a good point, but Ron Polk farts in your general direction.

Go cry to Larry Templeton. Maybe he can pull another string for you to get you in the td top 5 like he did a few years ago to get you into the regionals.

Not putting MSU in the top 5 programs of the SEC is ridiculous. MSU was the program that everyone else aspired to be until Skip Bertman came to LSU.
Stick to bashing cops on the other boards.

Good list I would probably have Miss. State higher, and depending on how you view South Carolina pre SEC status.
South Carolina went to Omaha 5 times before LSU's 1st trip.
South Carolina has been College World Series runner up under 3 different coaches.
