the vols D is going to be nasty. If they can actually get these guys on the field. The fence around Louisiana should be up by now. Especially D Line prospects.

I'm not sure a verbal offer from LSU right now would have made much of a difference. The fact that Frank used to coach there doesn't bode well for us.

I just don't when it would be considered lazy by a staff for not extending an offer for a 2011 kid in April of 2009. I realize other schools have done so and we do the same later in the year with OOS prospects. I do agree that our system should be re-evaluated and our recruiting is somewhat stagnant right now, which isn't good for the perception when trying to recruit these kids. Especially when the fanbase starts getting overly negative.
This does suck, but not sure it's a case of laziness.
