quote:
Simon is a very tall and talented safety and wide receiver. He absolutely towers over the opposition and stands out on the gridiron. As a free safety demonstrates tremendous all around skills. Attacks the line of scrimmage on run support and closes to the football quickly. Sniffs out the screen pass like a seasoned veteran and often makes the hit on the receiver just as he is catching the football. Plays with good leverage on the football and is a reliable tackler in the openfield. Physical when making hits on the ball carrier despite being tall and not able to drop the hips very much. An excellent pass defender that reads the route progression and understands combination coverages. Tough guy to throw over top of because of height. Possesses soft hands and shows great anticipation to make a play on the football. As a wide receiver, runs very solid routes and works his way back to the quarterback to make the catch. The guy you want to throw the fade route to because of how much taller he is than defensive backs. Catches the football in a crowd and really gets up in the air to high point the football. A very special punt return specialist that fields the football confidently and heads upfield with the attitude to score. A long strider that doesn't have great speed but is fast enough to pull away from tacklers in the openfield. Even uses the straight arm to keep tacklers off his body. Simon is a very good football player that could line up either side of the football and be a special teams standout. He is a valuable weapon due to his intimidating size and varied football skills.

His film is really good, surprised no recruiting services have him highly rated.
