I recieved a message from them about we as subscribers of COX cable would ask for them to please carry CSS sports so that we can watch our local sports teams when they are on.
Here is the message in it's intirity:
I think it is time that we as Tiger fans push our cable provider to carry what is neccessary for us to keep up with our local sports teams. Here is the COX Address in which to send an email directly to them:
LINK
Just fill out the form and send it to them.
Thanks all Tiger Rant Posters!

Thank you for your interest in CSS. Despite requests by viewers like
yourself, Cox Communications has yet to show an interest in adding CSS
to their channel lineups. CSS is available to any cable or satellite
provider nationwide that is willing to pay the established carriage
fee, and we will continue to work on expanding our coverage area
through all interested cable and satellite providers. Please contact
them about your desire to have CSS on their lineup. The more requests
they get from their subscribers the more likely they are to add us on.
Thank you!

Coc Communications
I don't see any way Cox ever adds CSS or Comcast adds CST (or does Comcast have CST in Louisiana?) as they compete with each other (cable company owned regional sports networks).

And Charter doesn't offer CST.

i heard from a friend that works for charter that there could be a merger between cox and charter.

Tulane, Arky, Florida, and Ms St are all on CST.
I think the CSS programming was for the AU fans.

Comcast IS CSS... or maybe I should say, vice-versa, CSS is Comcast... CSS is a joint operation of Charter Sports and Comcast...
... and with the way $$$ESPN$$$ charges all of these local carriers to put up with their BS, I mean, carry all their signals, and with the way $$$FOXSports$$$ is trying to follow in their wallets, I mean, their profit sheets, sorry, I mean, ahem, their footsteps, there is, unfortunately, NO FREAKIN' WAY this is ever going to happen... short of a merger or something like that, and some direct lightning bolts from God... generally, COX carries the games from CSS and I would imagine CSS carries the games from COX... when the teams/games overlap... these companies try like hell to use the home teams' networks, so they can save money... just so happens this weekend it did not work out...

I live in Baton Rouge, definitely Cox/CST country, but not 25-30 miles south from our house in north BR, down in Gonzales, LA area, EATEL Communications country, they carry Charter, not Cox/CST... so I would imagine maybe they had the games... AND now that EATEL is expanding their FIBER-OPTIC NETWORK... hmmmmmmm... maybe finally the de-regulation of cable may work in the publics favor, for a change?... HHHhhmmmmmmmm...
