Why is there so much MSB hate on Tyson Jackson?

Top 5 seems insanely high, but I figured he be a first rounder. I know his measurable production (sacks) where down, but scouts like what they see on film. He has the size and body type foe an NFL DE, why the hate Max, SFP others? Is it anti-Miles?

i don't hate him at all, but going that high is fricktarded

i really wish we could have seen TJ in a system where he wasn't asked to occupy blockers

i personally think he folded the tent during the UGA game and was way more concerned with his NFL future than his LSU present

i say good riddance to him

I almost pissed my pants when I saw a mock of him going 3rd overall.

The Chiefs are trying to build an LSU team. Dorsey, Bowe, Jackson. Many years of failure for the chiefs.

I tend to agree #3 seems ridiculous, but I do like his upside for the reason you said. I thought he was a fricking beast in 2006.

He's going that high in Mock drafts people. That doesn't mean he's been drafted at the 3 spot just yet.

But the arguement is when he has a dominant DT as in Dorsey and a decent DE on the other side, he has had his moment that shine very bright. But his size and strength make him a DE that is billed to stop the run and take up blockers. Teams that pay big money to their LB's love these guys because it makes their LB corps look better.

wow, what a dick if he was more concerned about his future than going to the Cap One or Cotton Bowl vs the Peach Bowl

its not even that

his play, or lack thereof, cost LSU on the field

i still vividly remember him pulling up on a reverse and absorb a block against UGA, the ball carrier ended up with 20+ yards

could be he was just frustrated with the system, which was clearly a cluster frick last year.

I think this is just a really weak draft and these guys who in normal year would be mid- to late-first rounders are going in the top 10.

I, too, dislike Jackson. But there aren't a whole lot of prospects I do like this year.

Would the Chiefs be able to absorb that cap hit if they were to trade Dorsey?

That's right. I forgot they're changing their defensive scheme.
