I ordered the river road shrimp "sauteed with garlic, red onions and bell
peppers in a spicy brandy butter, served over linguine." It was really good and was pretty spicy. It came with a side salad and the honey mustard was awesome.

My wife ordered the fried shrimp platter that came with a side salad and french fries. She got blue cheese on her salad and said it was pretty good. I'm not a big fan of blue cheese. I tasted the shrimp and it was well flavored. The fries were crispy and fresh.

Our daughter ordered the kid's catfish which, like the shrimp, had a great flavor. It came with fries, a drink, and ice cream for dessert. I thought it was a bit overpriced ($11).

All of this came out to 48 dollars before tip. My wife is pregnant, so we just had waters but I did overhear our server tell another table that all wine was 40% off. So I'm not sure if that's every Tuesday or just tonight.

The service was excellent and the atmosphere is a casual place to have dinner. I can't wait to go back and want to try a steak next time. I also want to try brunch one day.

I didn't like the River Road Shrimp, but the specials I've had there were great.

I've wanted to give his place a try. He does business with us and I'd like to return the favor, plus it's not far from our house.

He also owns Lakeside Daiquiris as well on Burbank.

My parents were up here for a baseball game and said it was excellent and not very expensive.

He doesn't own Lakeside. He owns the Boiling Pot 2 (the old Fricken Chicken)on Burbank.

Took my wife there about 3 weeks ago for the first time ... heard about it on this board..

the place kicks butt for a good impress your wife / girlfriend type of restaurant.

nice drive over there... when we got there my wife said..." you're taking me here" ? She was skeptical to say the least.

After she took her first sip of an awesome bloody mary she changed her tune !

whe had catfish (grilled) with "dots" (crawfish tails) and I had the fried green tomatoes with some type of crab sauce on top. We shared blackberry bread pudding for desert.

put it on the list if you are trying to impress !!

casual dress !
