I want to bounce something that I noticed and I wonder if it is just happened this way or it was done on purpose (which the way this show is I think everything is on purpose).
-the new flight # 316
-in the bible John 3:16 "for god so loved the earth that he gave his only begotten son that who so ever shall believe in him shall not parish but have ever lasting life."
- john was dead and the was "resurrected" by flight "316"
- so are they pushing us to believe that john in a essence is the Jesus of the island and would that make Christian (name play right there)/Jacob the god of the island...but if he is then that would make Jack Jesus because he is Christian's son...or is he??
damnit my head is hurting again
- it all kinda makes since what with the healing when he (john) first came to the island and certain people "following" John like disciples in last season....
hummmmm..
what say you fellow LOST addicts?

this show has gotten so over the top that i've lost interest in it, but somehow i watch it every week. i just want to know what the frick is up with the island so i can be done with it.
great observation though. it sounds pretty spot on.

Same here, although I still enjoy the show. I'm glad they decided to end the show when they did and not just let it go on. However, if the ending of the show is awesome and doesn't bomb, the series will be fun to watch from the beginning and in pieces.

Yes, because the writers of LOST really wanted it to have so many fillers. ABC never gave them a specific end date, so they had to keep feeling the seasons and re writing scripts and when ABC finally got the date, LOST writers were able to close on the fillers and get down to the important shite (Season 4 and now 5).

Carlton and Damon (the producers) already confirmed that the last episode is going to be Joop smoking a pipe and sitting in a chair while he explains all the mysteries of LOST.

There are many allusions to all kinds of religions and philosophies/philosophers in Lost that you can't say it's about any one thing. John Locke was a renown philosopher. LINK You didn't notice that Christian's and Jack's last name is Shepard?
Look at all the books that are read and passed around throughout the seasons. LINK There's a lot more there than what the plot is showing you.

John 8:15
"Ye judge after the flesh; I judge no man."
Didn't John say "I judge no one"?

I do not think Locke is a savior but I do believe he is special....
The characters that all seem special are Christian, Jack, Jacob, Locke, Ben, Widmore, Claire, Walt, and Richard.... Maybe a few more.
I have a feeling that these people have something in common, maybe distant relatives are not so distant... I mean Jack, Claire, and Christian are already related...
Its just another theory. No one really understands lost, but it is a fun watch.

Last episode Bob Newhart walks out of the shower and waves to Patrick Duffy who tells Bob that he had a bad dream.
Then he runs out of the house and jumps in a river and swims to Atlantis.
