That was signed by only Wally Pontiff. No one else's signature is on it. He signed it I guess about four or so months before he passed away. Does anyone think this ball could be worth a few good bucks? But I have no intention to sell it.

I really don't want to make any bucks off of it I mean Ive had it for a really long time. If I wanted money out of it I probably would have tried already. I'm definately going to keep it but I was just curious as to how much this baseball that's been on my desk for so long is worth.

Yeah man, do not sale it, either keep it or donate it to the Pontiff family. 100 years from now people will still remember Wally, so please dont sale it.

Seems like a really cool item, I would keep it and pass it down to your son and when you take him to games you can point to his 31 on the wall and tell him about Wally. Did they ever put the numbers back up?

Truth be told, it won't have much appeal outside of LSU fans. If you got him to sign it for your personally, feel fortunate that you have it. It should be worth more to you having it, than any amount of money.

I'll give you $100 if you give it to the Pontiff family.
