Just want everyone to look at this, because I am not sure that some of you are aware of the actual record of this team in mid week games..

Southern (W) 11-5
UNO (W) 19-3
MVSU (W) 10-4
SELA (W) 16-5
ULL (L) 9-10
NW St (W) 2-1
McNeese St (W) 6-3
Harvard (W) 4-3
Harvard (W) 10-2
Tulane (L) 7-8
Grambling (W) 8-4
UNO (W) 8-6
Nicholl St (L) 1-3

10-3 in mid week games
3 losses by combined 4 runs

Also.. Georgia Tech, the RPI #2, lost by 20 at home in a midweek game..

Miami, the RPI #3, was shut out 3-0 at home by Rhode Island... in a mid week game..

UNC, RPI #5, has mid week losses to Charlotte and High Point..

this list goes on and on..

I think it makes it worse that the losses are to instate schools where there is bragging rights.

your still missing most people's point. the fact that we lost is not the point(not to most at least).

there are 2 different arguments going on, 1 is that the coaches shouldn't have started alot of reserves in the game, the other is that we should "never lose to a team like Nicholls". The 1st argument has merit, the second one is retarded.

ok.. well, i dont agree with either of those arguments.. i like that he is playing the young guys.. would have been hard to find out that Hanover and Mahtook were such ballers if he hadnt done this in prior games...

I'd agree, but the only young guy that really got to play was Nola, the others were veteran reserves

These games just aren't that important. Rather win Natrional championship. The only perfect in base ball is pitching a no hitter. or a batter hitting every time in comes up in a game, which means he 1.000 for that game, yet a .500 hitter is exceptional.

Who cares about bragging rights for the other schools when we win the CWS in June.
