I have to admit I have always been a football first fan. But, in the last few years I have become more and more of a baseball fan. I am thinking of making the trip to Arkansas, has anyone been there, how is it, the stadium, the atmosphere, the night life?

i've never been, but people do say its a great stadium and they have lots of people, so a good atmosphere, i don't see how it could be bad compared to any other sec road trip

Thanks. Im planning on Omaha, but think it would be fun to hit a road trip along the way.

Stadium is terrific. Still the best in the country, IMO. People are nice, chicks are hot- do it.

I've been living in ARKY land for almost nine years. Believe it or not, there are several Tiger fans here. Speaking from the years past, the atmosphere for that weekend (depending on weather) has always been fantastic. We'll be boiling crayfish at the park.

Sounds like its worth it to me - chicks and crawfish, what more do you need?

Make the trip! Have lived in AR for 13 years and been to Baum stadium many times- well worth the trip. Night life is not bad either. We plan on cooking Saturday at the game if any Tiger fans want to come by.

Hey loceaux, I got my tix today. When and where you guys gonna be? Mind if I drop by and get some of those crawdads? The only time I can get any here in Okieland is when we have our Alumni bash. Thanx!
As to the original question, go if you can. Great park and place to visit.

I went back in 2005, and I'd definitely do it again. I remember seeing their stadium and wanting the new Box to be like that.

Great atmosphere and a crap ton of people.

Well if you do decide to go, bring your parka. Because according to woopig, the average temp for the weekend will probably be around 30 degrees.

I have only been to a football game there, but I loved the campus and the town. Nice strip of restaurants and bars in walking distance and sort of strangely cosmopolitan, or at least more so than I expected. I really wish we played them in Fayetteville for football. Can't comment on the baseball crowd, but this is a trip I would make if I could.

Prick

I don't know what I have said that you have a hard time with? It's still f'ing cold in Fayetteville. Is it absurd to say so? I don't know todays temp but Friday night against Vandy it was 42 and raining. Does my observation that Arkansas plays over half their season in shite weather piss you off?

Is it that I stated our attendance is fabulous, all things considered? Friday night it was 42 and had an actual of over 4k. Saturday was low 60's with an actual of over 9,100.

I hope the weather is great when LSU comes. Not sure what you keep trying to prove? Is there a fallacy you wish to clarify? Should I mock someone that tells me it is humid in Baton Rouge? Is there a punchline in there?

Stadium is second to none (I havent been to the new Box yet. I'm going for the Florida series)
However, the hog call will get old really fast. And get ready for some hard core "fair weather" fans. Literally. I've been here for 13 years and there will be a ton of Tiger fans here.

There are always more LSU fans who make their series up here than any other fan group.
