I don't see any other rank for us. UGA is the only other team that could rank closely, but the series from last week, and that they only played 2 this weekend, should give it to us hand's down.

I wish Arky would not have gotten exposed this weekend. Would have been nice to see them deflated by us next month. Now, it's just a normal LSU beatdown of the little pigs.

Baseball America has us at 2. #1 ASU defeated WSU 2 games to 1 at home but dropped 2 at Arky. I say they'll be 3 or 4. #3 Rice won its two midweek games and then took 2 of 3 at 15 East Carolina. I say its even money they jump us. Their mid week games were nothing spectacular. Sam Houston and Lamar, while ours was Grambling. UNC at 4 dropped a series to FSU and is thus out of the equation. 5th ranking UCI swept LBSU

rice should be #1 IMHO. they violated tulane in a way that LSU could never dream of. and their top 2 pitchers were out for that series.

Not completly true bc if you are the #8 then you have to play the #1 in the first game of the CWS. (Depending on upsets in the regionals and super regionals then obviously it could be different)

Seeding didn't seem to matter much in the NCAA tourney this March...

LSU doesn't play away until the first weekend of May. I hope we can finish out the rest of April with no losses.

I think we'll ride the top of the ranking for a little while. Hopefully, we can get these pitchers some quality work during that time.
