well thats the thing, ive only seen a couple of the other top teams play so far

if we are the best team in the country right now, then its a down year for college baseball, imo

not saying we wont be at the end of the year(which is the only thing thats actually means anything), but right now, i dunno...

I agree. We have our problems, but we can give anybody a run for their money in a best of 3 game series. We have serious depth problems with pitching but we have 2 really good starters, a good closer and our hitting seems to be coming around. This team seems built to win a Super Regional.

Who cares? As long we continue to improve and play good baseball we will be in Omaha. I want us to leave Omaha ranked 1.

rice should be #1 IMHO. they violated tulane in a way that LSU could never dream of. and their top 2 pitchers were out for that series.

Are you kidding? Everyone in CUSA is violating Tulane in weekend series.

We actually played 3 this weekend. But I agree, LSU should be ranked ahead based on last weekend.

nah, not really. tulane won the series against UCF today and lost a couple of close ones against houston. rice destroyed tulane worse than anyone has in a few seasons, including LSU. they were up double digits in two of the games. rice looks like a better team than LSU IMHO

I like being number 1. Being number 1 in late June is better.
