The was an article about Hanover a couple of weeks ago. He said he was UNC's second choice at second and the other guy got drafted and went pro. He said he was always an LSU fan growing up watching the CWS. He jumped on the offer from Rooney when he showed up.

The NCAA is doing everything in its power to make northern baseball relevant. Restricted scholarships is one tool they're utilizing. It was a numbers game and we had no room for Dugas. In past years we would have most likely signed him.
