What do you guys think about this show. I think its pretty good, but I dont think it will last. Thoughts?

I actually like it because it's different. I'd be willing to bet that a lot of people still haven't caught on to the fact that it's a retelling of the King David story from the Old Testament. I hope that NBC renews it for at least a 2nd season. Apparently, David becomes king in the season finale. It would suck if they ended the series then.

I think it would almost be impossible to not notice at this point. They're laying on the symbolism and references pretty thick....too thick IMO. 2 episodes ago some said something like "David's star is shining bright"..that was awful.

They don't have to "find a way"... they just say "I CANCEL THEE!"...just once, not three times...and it is done.
