How'd your night go? I watched Notre Dame Sugar Bowl at Buffalo Wild Wings outside of Chicago. My brother and I were only LSU fans. We got so much shite at halftime with "overrated" chants. By the end of the night we had them buying us beers!

For me, the most memorable experience is different from the most memorable play. Sitting in the student section in '07 against Florida when the announcement came on that Stanford had beaten USC. It was insane.

Play is the same game, the last of the 4th down conversions that saw Jacob Hester in the endzone. Too bad it was on the other fricking side of the stadium, but what are you going to do? Byrd caught the winning TD against Auburn 10 feet in front of me, so I can't complain

The "earthquake play" , Bluegrass Miracle. Was there for the earthquake game, was sittin in the living room screaming like a maniac for the bluegrass miracle.

Oh, also, Byrd's reception with 9 seconds left to win the Auburn game.

Doucet's 4th down catch to tie Bama in '07...he turned that DB inside out on his way to endzone. Doucet's TD to beat ASU, 4th down catch @UT in '06.....Yeah Early!

Cannon's Halloween touchdown run against Ole Miss in 1959. The cheering seemed to go on forever. Then the LSU goal line stand to end the game made this game truly memorable. That plus this was my first date with the girl who became my wife of almost 50 years.

That's awsome man. Congrats. My wife wouldn't be caught dead @ a football game. Considering divorce....

yes indeed. Gonna be fun.
I was at the orange game, hadn't seen 1 orange all game, clock ran out and it started raining oranges, I laughed for two days.
Flynn to Byrd. Had to watch it 3 times to see if he really caught it.

LSU was preseason ranked somewhere around #12, but trailed Houston by 20 to start the 4th quarter of the season opener. Faulk ran the punt back on the first play of the 4th quarter, then he and Rondell Meally basically rushed for about 8 yards a play in the 4th quarter and LSU came back by attempting about 2 total passes. Tigers win!!!!

Yeah that game was the original Troy State.

JV put the BADDEST stiff arm ever on Sean Jones from UGA in the 2003 SECCG. It was like a 60 yard run to the house and I was sitting in an all UGA section. I remember the hick that was sitting next to me said "ewww hes fast, ewwwww hes real fast". The entire section was silent except for me and my wife we were going nuts.

That run was actually 87 yards. Ben Wilkerson cut around to put a nice block on the UGA linebacker which cleared the path for Vincent. The only UGA DB who could have caught JV downfield ran into the official around the 10 yard line... but he didn't have a great angle so I doubt it would have made a difference anyway.

The put that in ur pipe and smoke it, Tubby- on side kick to start the AU game, I think it was in 2001. Oh and we recovered it.

The bitchy look on Tubby's face afterward was priceless.

Ryan Thomassie's false start as we were driving it down UGA's throat in 1998. The beginning of the end of the Dinardo era.

I don't remember that particular play, but that whole three-game stretch in 1998- UGA, Florida, UK- was just miserable. Pretty much everyone knew the season was finished as soon as Hal Mumme and Tim Couch got done skulldragging us in Tiger Stadium.

That whole season was just miserable. How many games did we actually play close? We beat a terrible Auburn team, played well against SEC West Champion Mississippi State, and played it close against UGA and Ole Miss. The rest of the games we just plain sucked.

ETA: Mike Tomlin was DBs coach for the Arkansas State team that came to Tiger Stadium that year.
