Les Miles vs. Nick Saban

Taking off your P&G glasses, people would say Nick Saban is better than Les Miles. Nick Saban came to Baton Rouge when LSU was a mediocre program in the nation, and he had turned the program around in just three years. However, Les Miles inherited Nick Saban's team and had the team going at 8-5 record last year (downhill).
At Bama, Nick Saban is god because he turned the program around in just two years, beating Les Miles and his LSU team - a defending NC- at their house. I know many of you will think this is Germans, but this is the truth. LSU's records would have been better if we still had Saban here. Thanks.
Your opinions are welcome !

This is so 2006.
How did Saban do the last time he had 2 freshman QB's as his only option?

Tell me what you like in Miles and Saban
I like Miles because he's calm and friendly with his players, and like Saban because he's strict and training his players as if they are in a military.

I like Miles because he is LSU's coach, I don't like Saban because he is Bama's coach...

Opinions are like @ holes, everyone has one. thank you for sharing yours.
This can be debated every year, some years miles resume will look better, some years saban's. We may see this thread again this time next year only with an opposite opinion.
i guess i could give an opinion that pete carol is better than both. He's not the coach of the team i follow so i really don't care. The coach of my team wants to be here. The coach you like chose not to be here.
I'm not going to waste my time wishing i still had my ex-wife. move on, man.

quality thread.
I like Miles. I don't think he is the best coach in the SEC, but I like him. However, I never had a problem with Saban leaving us for Miami, or leaving Miami for Bama. Dude was taking care of his family, and none of us would have done differently.

Okay I will say it. I would rather have Saban than Miles at LSU.

Please go away and don't post anymore.
Miles is clearly superior. He has never lost to ULM or UAB!
