I will start. I am an idiot. PM you are not. Apparently LC can pitch 8 innings of good baseball after throwing on Friday. My bad. Next time i say something, IGNORE IT.

When Coleman came out for the 8th inning the first thought I had was the rant going on about him pitching on Friday,

Thank you. I was about to start a crow-eating thread for the negatigers, but you beat me to it.

Perhaps some of you who were thrashing Mainieri Friday will admit now that just maybe he has seen Coleman in action (practice and games) a few more times that you have and may just know a little more about his capabilities than you self-appointed baseball experts (also known as rantards).

Coleman throwing Friday was nothing more then a bullpen that he would have thrown anyway. I tried to say that Friday, but of course everybody always know better than the coach.

Kudos to you for admitting your mistake. Of course if we hadn't won today(and gotten a gutsy performance from LC) we would have 50 threads about how wrong PM was. But, it's awesome that many of you were wrong b/c I like taking 2 of 3 from UGA

So you still think it was a SOLID baseball move? All I am saying is that even though things worked out this time doesn't mean is was a good move.

I think a lot of those protesting against Coleman pitching Friday are probably the same people that were/are sure that Coleman should be a set starting pitcher.

These same people don't realize how often LSU has used one of its best pitchers in a utility role, and how well it has worked in the past.

I will admit I have some crow to eat. It's amazing that this team has won every SEC series so far with their best hitters from last year ALL being in a slump. However, I hope they don't get cocky from winning this series because they seemed to get cocky after starting out great and then they dropped a series to Illinois (who ain't half bad BTW).

Well, if we can keep finding ways to win and our guys come out of a slump we'd be primed to win the SEC easily.

Jesus H Christ. He only threw 24 pitches. How many do you throw in the course of practice every day? Was that really such a burden that no one thought he'd be ready two days later to pitch again?

Good lord. Let the man coach the players. He likely konws a little more about their physical health than you do.

It's OK. You can admit you're wrong. We'll still accept you as a Tiger fan.

Maybe, but its tough to argue against a coach's decision that wasn't made suddenly (clearly it was part of a plan) and that works.

If you watch baseball alot...you could tell UGA was seeing the ball really really well Saturday. I think they torch Coleman as they did Ross...and then we dont have Coleman on Sunday.

I dont think Coleman pitching on Saturday is some sacred cow. This was gonna be a tough series to win and PM had decided well before friday that if we had a chance to step on UGA's throats in the first game...then we were gonna do it...and then pitch Coleman on Sunday.

You can have your opinion for sure....but you're just some backseat driver with no pressure on any of your opinions. You have it easy.

Nothing wrong with pitching a clear #2 pitcher on Sunday, in fact it is the better way to go in my mind, especially on the road.

Coleman can't be a Bradford type pitcher if you start penciling him in on Saturday, and if he is going to pitch on Saturday you do need to pencil him in advance.

First, off I wasn't even part of the crowd questioning it the night of. However, I will not admit that I am wrong because a single data point is not enough evidence to prove me wrong.

Louis had a gutsy performance, not his best stuff but got the job done. He threw 132 pitches. Wow.

The end.

Congrats on 2 of 3 from UGA!!!
