He's only a redshirt sophmore isnt he?
He played a good bit last year. I dont see why he would leave unless he thinks Peterson, Taylor, and Brooks are all firmly in front of him.

If he transfers to a D-1 school he loses a year. He's already redshirted. As of now he has 3 more years to play at LSU. If he transfers, he sits out this year and can play 2 elsewhere I think.....assuming he's a redshirt spohmore.

They wouldn't release him to an SEC school or much more a rival SEC West school.

Does Les usually let kids go to other SEC schools?

Very true. I cant imagine him wanting to transfer anyway.

They dont have to release him. They can put stipulations on where he goes I think. Thats why you hardly ever see a kid transfer within the same conference

i know but don't you think that would cause the family to get upset and other schools would use that against Les in recruiting?

Schools usually don't allow a kid to transfer to a rival or even non-conference teams on their future schedules. Most likely a strategic thing when it comes to coaching and such.
