Thats because he is now a class of 2010 instead of 2011. He will be a senior next year eligibility wise and will have to go the prep or juco route. He is a very good athlete

He is the brother of our starting RB Chris Brown.

So they don't allow 5th year seniors in highschool?

I'm not sure I understand his situation..

Good athlete, but not quite up to the Bryce Brown level.

You can play if you are a year over age and meet the cutoff date. Milton is 2 years too old for his grade, sad thing is when he was in 8th grade his coaches swore he was the right age just to win a middle school football game against winnfield. But now the truth comes out and he will have to go the prep or juco route

Ah I see, that's too bad. Not too many players get caught in the lie, huh?

Thanks winn

Yeah its sad to see some of the coaches in middle school lie and play 15 and 16 year olds when there are kids that will actually make it to high school and have 4 years to play sit on the bench.

Winnfield always finds a way to screw things up, but I will give it to our middle school coach he runs a great program. If you cant make the grades to remain eligible in high school and cant play all 4 years of high school he will not play you. Meaning if your 15 or 16 in the eighth grade you will not be allowed to play in eight grade. There arent alot of middle school rules that I have heard of so I really commend him on the way he teaches and develops his kids.

Me neither, it's kind of like an "honor" thing, especially since there's not a formidable agency to supervise it.

Have we gotten any players out of Winnfield in the last 5 years?

Just Antonio Robinson but he transferred to NW State...There is a soph QB we have that rushed for 500+ and threw for 500+ with about a 100 yards receiving and a pick on prevent defense named Alonzo Moore. He is already 6' 2" and times around 4.55 to 4.65. He recently won the co-mvp at the national underclassmen camp at Baton Rouge. He will be a absolute stud who can play several positions if he stays on the right track. He will be in the 2012 class and already has a Rivals profile.

Awesome. Thanks for the info. I'll def keep an eye on the QB. Maybe I can catch a game in the next couple years. Closest I ever am to Winnfield is Winnsboro on my way to Monroe.
