Down to LSU and Bama and he's committing soon. Has an offer from pretty much everyone in the SEC and OU, Neb, FSU to name a few. Guys a stud -- most likely #1 guard in TX and possible #1 OL in TX overall. To save the suspense; He'll be a Tiger -- he has a few ties to LSU, its way closer than Bama and he's already been on a few unofficials to LSU.

Thanks for sharing it. However, do you have some inside info about this quote or its just your educated guess.

If he hasn't even officially committed, too early to tell..still a LONG way to go. After this last recruiting season & beyond, if you want to consider the Brown circus, anything is possible until they sign on the dotted line.

I have to agree with LittleJerry. We met the young man a couple of months ago, he showed up in a P&G shirt, his mom is an alum. He sure is a fine looking athlete, it would surprise me if he wasn't going to be a Tiger.

Not really. I've heard at least one person say that they would be surprised if he actually had a legit LSU ofer.

He would be a big pickup at G, but LSU has GOT to find a big time tackle in this years class.

We've been fortunate to have two great LTs come through the program in recent years and need to keep with the tradition.

TJ Leitfelt seems to be a candidate, but you never know how good your chances relly are with a kid from NC.

Just sat behind him and his father on a flight to Birmingham. They are going to check out Gumpland and he was decked out in Bama garb so don't read too much into what shirt he wears on a daily basis. The guy next to his dad told him all everywhere to go eat in gumpland.

Once we got off the plain he was waiting for his dd outside the bathroom and I simply told him "overheard yal getting n earful about bama. Just remember everyone looks better in purple and gold"

He found it amusing.

Can never have to many OT, but what about Faulk from this years class assuming he qualifies? I think he'll be our next great one at OT.

His offer list is better than any OL in Texas. That may not make him the most talented in the state, but it sure makes you look a bit silly for giving a bottom line "no" to him being the best guard or OL in Texas when February comes around.

Sure he can dominate the average high school kid but he does not have the athleticism to handle elite athletes. He's a very good player but to say that he is the best lineman in Texas is a stretch. Is that better for you?

I didn't see that game but from what I hear they didn't go against each other as much as some think. Like I said he's a very good player but to be the best lineman in Texas he would have to be better than Matthews,Washington,Hopkins, and Espinosa which is saying something.
