Any team not from Big 10, Big 12, ACC, or Pac 10, sick of playing cupcakes, nothing gained from playing them

Texas A&M. I lost a lot of respect for them during the Best Stadium vote. I honestly don't have a single good word to say about the Aggies right now.

Arkansas is welcome to that series.

Tiger Stadium won over Kyle Field by 70% of the votes.

ULL... Don't want those bastards to get a big pay day by playing us. ULL hates LSU. Let's not ive them money. Find a spare that likes us for a big pay day. ULM, La Tech or North Texas.

Agree, time to put them in time out until they learn their place.

Any of the Louisiana little league schools, such as La Tech, ULL, ULM, Tulane, Southern, Grambling etc.

Playing any of them is the footbal equivalent of a "mercy f*ck". It doesn't do anything to enhance our reputation and there's always the risk of catching a VD.

La. Tech is different at least they beat a SEC school last year and have a history of being able to pull off the big upset from time to time.

Agreed. Of our four yearly OOC games, I'd like to see:
• 2 games v. legit BCS schools (ACC, Big-12, etc.)
• 1 game v. a non-in-state mid-major (Memphis St., UCF, E Carolina, Tulsa, UNLV)
• 1 game v. an in-state opponent
Forget the Citadels and Western Carolinas. We simply play in a bigger arena than those schools, and we do nothing to advance our own credibility as an elite program by playing the cupcakes.

I wouldn't want to play Oklahoma in the championship this year with all their talent coming back, but it wouldn't happen this year anyway. USC this season in a bowl game would be a safer bet for us than OU or UT.

That was fluke, nothing more. That was the one-in-a-lifetime victory by the Warindians. Odds are it won't happen again for quite some time. Remember what Texas A & M did to USL after the Cajuns' big upset? They skullfricked the Cajuns 66-0 the following year.

Any Louisiana school. If LSU is going to schedule them, make them the first game of the season so everyone is pumped as hell to see Tiger football for the first time in many months. Having an in-state game scheduled in November is like a waiter taking a filet mignon away from you at a restaurant half-way through eating it and then bringing out a piece of meatloaf to hold you over for a few minutes until they bring the filet back out. It is a kick in the nuts.
