Who is Adam Brown

I have seen where McKay mentions a JUCO OG that LSU is recruiting named Adam Brown out of Texas. He isn't in the scout, rivals, or ESPN databases. I did manage to find his stats on the NJCAAs website. He averages a little over 18 PPG and hits 82% of his free throws. My question is how good can the guy be if he isn't in the database yet? I'd like to think he is a potenital diamond in the rough, but it is hard to believe that none of the recruiting services would even have him listed. I'm just wondering if anyone has any specific information on this guy that would explain why we are recruiting him. I say we are recruiting him only because McKay says that, so take that for what it is worth.

I think you are confusing Adam Brown with Rico Pickett, a player that McKay has mentioned.

I have heard both of those names thrown around, as well as Gary Flowers and Quincy Hankins.

More info on Adam Brown
This story even includes a picture of him playing against Hugh Mingo, who I believe is Barkevious Mingo's brother. He played at West Monroe and is a ULM signee. Brown's teammate, a 6-9 center, is a Utah signee. The story says that 4 of their players will likely sign with Div. 1 schools.

18 ppg, 46% from field and from 3, 83% FT. Guy can shoot it. I've also heard we're recruiting him it's weird he's not in any databases.

Thanks for the info Bubba Hotep. It seems like the guy would at least be on the rivals database with his stats. There is a lot of scuttlebutt on how many, if any, players LSU will offer in the spring period. I think TJ wants to sign at least 4 next year, maybe 5. As it stands now, we have 10 on scholarship next season including the two freshman. Everyone they sign from this point forward reduces the number of scholarships he can give next season. That of course assumes that Garret Green will recover from his back surgery and we don't have any attrition. Trent's track record indicates he doesn't lose many, if any, players to transfer.
