Without a big man I would say that maybe 25% chance we pull it out. Am I not giving our team enough credit?
UNC has lost to some weaker opponents than LSU. I'll be praying to the BB gods for this one.

The Sweet sixteen would be very SWEET.

It would be the football equivalent of Troy State beating LSU.

Exactly, Troy didn't beat LSU and LSU won't beat UNC.

The whole prob with this game is LSU vs. TWO opponents, UNC and the refs!!!! CJ will have 3 fouls in the first 10 mins!!!!

Our chances are poor because of the NC superior talent and depth. We may keep it close or have a miracle game -- possible, but a major long shot.

Comon PJ, at least wait for the game to start before you complain about the refs.

Oh shite the board police are here! "PUT IT OUT, PUT IT OUT!!!!"

I was looking for feedback from people on reasons that maybe we could pull this one out, not for a 1.2538672% chance.

Losses to:
Boston Coll.
at (4) Wake Forest
at Maryland
(22) Florida St. (ACC Tourney)

The Heels were very strong thru the 2nd half of the year.

Frankly, Lawson's injury probably won't hurt UNC much vs LSU. Ironically it might even help them. Temple could have controlled Lawson, perhaps frustrated him. Every offensive attempt to get Lawson involved would keep them away from Hansbrough. Unfortunately without Lawson, UNC will be forced to focus heavily on their inside game. Hansbrough plays like a Matt Howard, but he's bigger, stronger, more resourceful, a better shot, and more experienced. He also has much better support inside. Watching us try to deal with Howard, I'm afraid were in for a long day. We match up more poorly vs UNC than with any other team in the tourney IMO.

In no way shape or form would it help them more if he is out.
Just think about it. If Lawson doesn't play, then Temple can guard W.Ellington. And if TyLawson does play, Temple can only grab one of them.

UNC does not like to play teams that are long and athletic, those teams usually give Tyler problems. but we also get called for a lot of fouls. If lawson is out the lose the one man fastbreak that is lawson, but if he is still hurt temple will give ellington real problems. green to me is not that good but our only hope is not to get in foul trouble. we will see.

thats funny because everyone on cbs and espn today said that LSU could give North Carolina trouble because of their length and athleticism...we shall see i have LSU beating UNC in my bracket
