Of course they can, but when the foul disparity is 27-13, FT shooting 35-13, and all the other statistical categories are even, then the officiating played the biggest role.

I didn't say LSU deserved to win. Neither team "deserved" to win shooting like that.

We certainly did get the majority of the calls today but anybody who watched this game saw who wanted it more today. State drove the basket again and again and again and drew alot of fouls. It seemed to me that LSU played flat and had a bad game. I understand that losing sux but I always have said LSU fans are the most knowledgeable and Classiest fans I know. Stansbury also said our gameplan today was to get to the ft line and ct down on our 3 pts b/c LSU defends the periemeter so good. Good luck to the Tigers in the Dance they are still the CREAM of the CROP.

Why is it out of the realm of possibility that LSU could lose a game because the refs made bad calls that screwed us enough to make the difference?

So any team that shoots 31% deserves to lose? So what does that say about every team that lost to a team that shot 31%? Were they all screwed by officials since their opponent "deserved to lose" but didn't?
