Yup, I think a win would be huge for the Ladies, and I would like to see them get another shot at the Lady Barners.

Hey Aubie, congrats on your win today and good luck with both mens and womens teams the rest of the way.
I will tell you one thing about womens basketball that drives me frickin nuts, among other things it's that it is ALL about UConn and UThug. It's those two teams and everyone else, and that just drives me nuts. Hopefully someone can knock off UConn and that SOB that coaches them.

I keep thinking that UConn winning by so many points so many times in a row eventually has to inflate that team's ego. Maybe they'll slip up at a very bad time in the NCAA Tourny, but if they play on all gears they should easily win it all. Auburn is great this year, but UConn is just on a whole different level.
Anyway, hope LSU wins this game, would love to see LSU vs Auburn for the championship game.

3 or 4 straight fouls against the girls. All shooting fouls. All we get is charging fouls on O when we get the ball. They allow the Vandy girls to just step in there while they move and draw a charge. It gets to the point that there is no game but the refs game. A showcase for them to control.

And THAT is what I hate about basketball, particularly college basketball. I just can't get into a sport all the way that the refs control a game and ultimately who wins and who loses, and there are times in college basketball when that happens.

Another charge by us. That is a great acting job. There was a walk on Vady eirlier when the girl did a hope skip and a jump without dribbling and no call.

I didn't want my previous post to come across wrong- I enjoy college basketball and love it even more when LSU is having success. However, moreso than perhaps most sports, basketball refs are notorious for making key calls that can win or lose games, depending on the team those calls are affecting.

Absolutely. We sometimes come across as whining about the calls, but most on here are not blind and can figure that someone is getting the advantage.
