Lake Highlands plays in a really good 5A district so he did it against a high level of competition.
Didn't see him play last year but that's the high school in my neighborhood. I'll go check him out this fall!
Last great Lake Highlands quarterback was Marcus Stiggers back in the mid 90's.

Saw this kid play last year. Very solid. Plays basketball too. In years past, Lake Highlands received a lot of attention from colleges. But a few years ago they were put into an insane district with South Lake Carroll, Plano East, Plano, Allen,,, and it was a disaster. They fell off the radar of big schools. Last year they moved to a different district and they are able to compete. Still 5-A. The head coach is just going to have to work harder to promote this kid to the football schools. Last two big recruits went to Yale in 08 and another will go to Harvard in 09.

How is a 4.5 forty for a QB ever going to qualify as a negative?

He must not be projected as a QB at the next level.

Yeah, the little write up I was given says ATH/QB...

True... but these kids recruting stats are like the OT (Everyone bangs 10's, and makes $250,000)...

Everyone runs a 4 flat 40, and does 40 reps of 225 their Junior year.

In other words... I bet he really runs a 4.8...
