what football and basketball on ESPN or ESPN2 will be next year? I am assuming JP game will now be on one of the ESPNs. What about midweek games? Do schools ahve to move games to Thursday or Friday as part of this deal? I live up in NY and my cable system does not carry gameplan or full court (ridiculous but true) and I ct get DTV because of trees. So I miss out on JP games, PPVs and basketball is pretty scares on the ESPNs (in a stroke of real crappy luck, I also don't get espmu).
If anyone knows, thanks

Dear SEC Fan:
On Monday, ESPN and the Southeastern Conference announced a long-term agreement that will allow you to see more of your favorite SEC teams games while securing the financial health of our institutions for years to come.
The SEC's strength, combined with the prowess of ESPN's promotional ability and marketing savvy will enable us to expand the national coverage of our great league. This agreement, coupled with our recent extension of our CBS contract, will make the SEC the most nationally televised conference in the nation.
Faced with the decision of creating our own television network, our institutions made it known that one of the most important factors in our television future was the ability of our fans to watch as many of their sporting events as possible. In all of our sports, we feel our agreements with CBS and ESPN accomplish this goal.
We are currently entering the final year of our current television agreements. During the next year, go to www.secsports.com to find out the latest information on our television future as we prepare for the kickoff of our new agreements.
As Commissioner of the SEC, I can say that you are a major reason why our television partners were so eager to continue their relationship with our league. Your passion and support of the SEC and its institutions is nationally recognized and was never lost in our negotiations.
Thank you for your continued support of the Southeastern Conference. I look forward to working with our television networks and our institutions as we continue to make the SEC the best intercollegiate athletics conference in the nation.

Cool, but that press release and FAQ really didn't answer the question, but there probably is no answer right now. Just wish to know if the 12:30 game will now be an ESPN game or if ESPN can re sell it a JP/Raycom which means I am still screwed.

I'm pretty sure jp/raycom is just plain dead now and it will be an actual ESPN production and broadcast..counting ESPN classic and U

See FAQ from SECsports. Looks like JP is still possible at 12:30ET
(6) What impact will these agreements have on football start times?
CBS will maintain its exclusive 3:30 pm ET window. The over-the-air syndication window will remain at 12:30 pm ET, while the games on ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, and regional syndication will generally be played in prime time.

All the SEC basketball games will be shown on one of the ESPN channels. Football not as all inclusive but the morning kickoff is still a possibilty.
