I have a friend that went to USC and his 8 year old daughter is a huge Trojan fan. Before her birthday she sent her favorite player, Rey Maualuga, an invitation to her birthday party. Maualuga sent her a letter and apologized for not being able to attend. On the day of her party Maualuga called her to wish a happy birthday.
Its VERY hard to root for a Trojan, but I will make an exception for this classy young man. The sporting world could use a few more like him.

From what I've heard he is a pretty okay guy except when drinking and on the field. He could be a live wire in the NFL. I guess it remains to be seen he leaves his college drinking days at USC.
