I liked Z Thomas but I'm shocked too. I had him going in the 5th round. I'm NOT making excuses for Brian Kelly or the rest of the old coaching staff. Having said that, LSU players aren't exactly being hot in the draft. I had 16 draft eligible players I was going to keep up with for LSU. So far with almost 100 players drafted, only 3 LSU players. The NFL says that LSU was a bit talent poor IMO. That still goes on Kelly for not recruiting/developing better. But if the NFL saw talent under-coached, they would draft the players anyway.

Yea, I was thinking about 5th round. You usually go for the more polished WRs this early.
He's good in the return game and creates big plays with the best of them though. I guess that's what they needed.

And I’m 99% sure that’s just because other experts had him in that range. There were people on here in the summer saying Aaron Anderson was going to be a first round pick.

I’ll be real, if you would’ve told me Zavion would be the first receiver picked in the draft during Fall Camp last year I would’ve called you a liar.
