Bats sucked this weekend no question. We could’ve pitched our best and still got swept because of how bad they were. With that being said we rank 7th in the conference in batting average in conference play. We rank 13th in era in conference play. Our pitching has sucked this year. It’s been worse than our offense. The only relief pitcher I’d consider starting in Sheerin.

It’s not just relief pitchers. Our starters have sucked too.
You never know what Evans you are going to get. Is he going to walk 3 straight or strikeout 15 in a game?

I think the OP's point - without explaining himself - is the majority of the opponent's runs have come in the first 3-4 innings.

Just put Yorke out there, he at least takes up a lot of space up the middle. Maybe be can block balls

We already are! Cowan and Evans and Guidry were all relievers last year. The loss of Moore and the absence of Anderson and Eyanson is glaringly obvious in this year.
