Prepare thy anus.
You're looking at around $8 to $12 grand depending on the materials you choose.

This afternoon I replaced 2 panels on my fence that had blown down in a storm.
I did it myself it was right at 17 feet of fence and just the materials cost $254.
That’s using cedar pickets and treated everything else.

I’ve recently gotten 4 quotes for replacing 265’ and adding two gates. They’ve ranged from $6,700-$7,500. This includes removal and haul off of old fence. Usually 300-500 per gate.
The one I chose is on the cheaper end and putting in steel posts with cedar boards.

$30-32/ft is what I would look for.
Add 300/gate, 500 for haul off of old fence.
Anyone cheaper than that wont be in business this time next year.

Seems like there is always someone complaining about the high cost of having a fence installed.
There may not be a more pure free market service than fence construction. Very low barrier to entry and literally anyone can do it if they are physically able. Businesses constantly pop up and compete with the market before disappearing.

at Christmas I replaced about 170 feet. They pulled down the old fence and rebuilt 6ft privacy fence with 1 double gate. Important to note that I had metal posts that they were able to reuse. I paid about 6k for that. Very pleased with the job. Highland fence did it. Highly recommend.
