Pokemon TCG

Not really interred is the playing aspect of Pokemon TCG.
What I am interested in is if any of you collect and or looking to move/ get rid of any cards.
Could be a thread to wheel and deal if there is interest.
Anyone?
Many moons ago (2009) I was in an apartment with a bro. I was having a girl come over and he said…”what are you going to do? Show her your Pokemon cards? Har har har..”
I took it personal and pussy is undefeated so I threw away thousands of $ worth of Pokemon and yugioh cards.
I’m returning with vengeance.
Note: The girl was Latino and crazy. Not worth the loss. FML double LL

Right now is a great time to buy into vintage Pokemon. PSA 8 prices for WOTC holos is stupid cheap especially compared to the dumb as frick prices modern cards are going for.
I'm currently building out a Base Set through Team Rocket binder, only buying cards from local stores/show vendors or trading for them (in person or online). It's been a blast filling the binder up. Some of the cards are from my childhood that my parents still had in a big plastic tubber ware container with my sports cards

In the past week I have acquired some solid stuff:
Full holo set of Southern Islands(2001)
Tyranitar - Neo discovery holo
Blissey/ Ho-oh - Neo revelation holos
Pichu - WoC black star promo CGC 10
None 1st Ed though. And most have a shot at an 8 imo. I’ve got this weird vintage reverse holo fetish going on right now.
Got any you maybe willing to part with?

I typically don't pay the exorbitant for a stamp. Some of the Japanese trainer cards, maybe, but generally for binders I don't bother.\

Yep, an Illustrator. Another scummy bullshite fact about the card - it was originally graded a PSA 9 (weak one at that), but was cracked out of its PSA slab and regraded numerous times before getting a PSA 10

PSA worries me with that shite. I have heard some questionable stories about them.

You'll hear it across all of the grading companies. Only reason you hear more PSA is because they do 10-20x more cards than any other grading companies

Pokemon TCG is the most fun trading card game out there. Modern comp TCG is great, but you can even go back and play old school cards on tcgone.net.

dealing with modern shite is tough right now. It is such a business that finding product is tough. I am guilty of holding onto some etb's and such but those scalpers are a pain in the arse. I have fun grabbing singles and getting them slabbed and that is about it.

TAG slabs look the best. PSA may be the preferred grader for price but I think the slabs are not appealing aesthetically.

TAG doesn't even trust their own AI enough so they do human checks on all higher tiered subs

Unfortunately and fortunately I don’t have facebook haha.
Maybe I should. I was at the show today. Just not enough time to do all I want to do. Brought a tin with about $700 raw market that I just wanted to clear out the binder.
Need to figure out when the next one is or another one in the areas is soon.
