We spoke to Wake Forest linebacker Aaron Curry about the experience on Tuesday.

He said that each team has its own room in which the interviews occur, and that when they say the interviews last for 15 minutes, they mean it.

Curry explained an air horn sounds from the hallway at the 12-minute mark, and then again when the allotted time has expired.

Asked to identify the strangest question he received from the 20 teams with which he met over a two-night period, Curry said that he had an unusual experience with the Saints.

“They were just trying to see how I reacted to a hard situation or hard coaching,” Curry said. “A coach asked questions with a drill sergeant demeanor.

“Before you were done he’d cut you off and say why your answer was wrong,” Curry said. “And then he’d ask the next question.”

Curry wasn’t the only one who got that treatment from the Saints. The talk among the Combine participants was that anyone who met with the Saints was put through the same paces.

It’s not necessarily the best way to woo a guy. But, then again, it’s a draft.
