i'll be honest, i generally kind of like this cheesy, nostalgic type humor, but that's just not terribly funny to me. I'm also entirely unclear if you think that this was a real commercial.

No, I did not think it was real, but I tend to lean into drier humor and deadpan delivery, so my bad it wasn't obvious.
My wife has gotten on my case many times in the past.
