Has there been any rebuttal to the claims Iran has made on the ceasefire?

Surely we didn't actually agree on a shipping toll in the straight of Hormuz, to rebuild their country and they continue to enrich uranium.

I'm not being a smart arse. Has anyone stated these aren't real?

There are supposed to be face to face talks on Saturday. Claims are just posturing right now.

They pulled an Art of the Deal and are putting out their unrealistic demands for public consumption (I believe it’s to create division). Assuming the talks generate agreements the demands will have been scaled back some.

Don’t leave out paying them war reparations and damages. I have not really been able to keep up with to much news today because I have been super busy. Letting Iran charge a toll though is just a bad precedent to set though. If China watches Iran do this and get away with it then everyone will be paying them a toll to move material through the Taiwan Strait. That’s one of the reasons they want Taiwan in the first place is to control shipping. Trillions of dollars in materials sail through that area. Allowing Iran to charge a toll is just a bad bad idea.

quote:

“Hell yes,” this person said when asked if executives were contacting the White House to protest a toll on Hormuz.

”We didn’t have to do that before — and I thought we won the war. Any place you have access to the administration, you ask, what are you guys thinking?”

Among their points: Conceding to Iran’s request would add $2.5 million to each shipment in tolls and higher insurance rates, a cost that would be passed on to consumers. Giving Iran control of Hormuz could set precedent for countries like Singapore and Turkey to charge tolls on important trade routes on the Strait of Malacca and Bosporus. And paying the toll could put companies in legal jeopardy for violating sanctions on Iranian officials.

Ya, no way to spin it if a toll is allowed. Disastrous policy if it comes to fruition.
