Overall traffic along the vital oil-shipping route has not picked up beyond the slow trickle it has experienced throughout the war.

Iran is planning to demand that shipping firms pay tolls in cryptocurrency to let their oil tankers through the strait, the Financial Times reported Wednesday morning. Iran will also be inspecting each ship for weapons, the FT reported, citing a spokesperson for Iran's oil, gas and petrochemical products exporters' union.

Well, if Iran is violating something, we have carte blanche to go.

Iran is threatening to close it (or keep it closed) in response to Israel's ongoing operations in Lebanon. Per reports, and Israeli insistence, their operations in Lebanon were not part of the ceasefire agreement. There appears to be a problem with that, though, being that apparently Pakistan — the mediator of the agreement — says that Lebanon was part of the ceasefire agreement.

If Israel was not a party to the negotiations then I do not see how Israel can be handcuffed by any agreement

If Pakistan is under the belief that Israel (concerning their operation in Lebanon) was part of the agreement, then that is a problem because someone spoke or agreed on behalf of Israel.
ETA: It is also worth noting that Israel, reportedly, has carried out strikes in Gaza in recent days, which puts that peace agreement on even shakier ground.
