What does success look like?

If Republicans lose in 26 as is being predicted.
And Trumps last 2 years as a lame duck are spent fighting off impeachments and daily investigations, leading to a Newsome presidency in 28, where day one every EO is struck down.
Will there be any long term wins we can point back to?
Winning looks like winning. We have to win, the traitorous Republicans have to win, Trump/Vance have to win. You have to retain and grow power, even if we have to use the GOP as a skin suit to push the America First agenda. It’s not happening through the Democrat Party, and there is no 3rd option.
Accelerationism and all these nihilistic burn it all down freaks like the childless Fuentes don’t care what this country looks like in 10 or 15 years. We have to win, and we have to get better judges.

You seem to think that Trump truly cares if Newsom wins, provided Newsom runs.

Are you suggesting that Trump doesn’t want to leave a legacy? And wants to spend his final days having him and his family probed by the FBI?
If not for any other reason than his own self interests, Trump should want mid term success as well as in 2028.
