They do look much more floppy. The top of the old mitts were very rigid. These can’t catch in the pocket anyway. It’s really crazy how somethings so taken for granted isn’t with this team as a whole.

It would be a good start to get them off their knees. You cannot defend with a knee down.

Agree! It’s atrocious. You cannot defend with a knee on the ground. Framing is one thing, defending balls in the dirt is another.
