Noticed this last year but never heard anyone talk about it.

Drake closes his eyes on impact every time.

It doesn’t seem to affect him negatively.

active roster players under the age of 30:

Bryce Elder (26)

Ozzie Albies (29)
Austin Riley (28)
Ronald Acuna (28)
Michael Harris II (25)

6 out of 26. We old as frick.

Hate to say this, but Riley may be cooked.

Certainly possible. Hopefully he can stay healthy for a full 162 this year.

Austin had five homers in spring. He’ll probably get going. If I’m remembering correctly, he never has started strong in his career.

Riley and Olsen are incredibly streaky players.

Olson, yes, Riley though has been in a funk at the plate for like 2 seasons worth of ABs right now.

Jeff McNeil with a very audible "frick" after that strikeout

Back to the 108-54 pace

Would love sweeps of course, but winning series is never bad

I approach 2 and 4 game series this way - split on the road, 2/2 or 3/4 at home

That gets you pretty close to 100 wins

ETA 106-56 with this year schedule

Riley has declined every year since 2021 or at least 2022. He should be serviceable for a couple more years at the very least. But we could use him hitting at least .280 again

Even better….

If we win all three game series and split all 2 and 4 gamers this year we would be…

103-59

Who here wouldn’t take that right now?
