Great win! Didn't see this coming especially after last night's ending. This could be a turning point in the season.

Heavener was amazing the whole game, giving up only 3 hits I believe. Should have been a shutout except for a throwing error in the 7th.

If they could win this series it will be the biggest win since winning their last regional or even Super Regional.

Ended a 22 game win streak by Oklahoma. They scored 30+ runs in a single game against a couple of teams during that streak

Like I said last night, when JH stops walking so many batters we will win a lot of games...

Finally got some of the hits in clutch needed to beat an elite team and win a close game, on to next one

I think she still gave up 3 free bases, that’s just who she is! She has elite elite stuff though and get away with it..she dominated a team with 4 AA hitters

Tomorrow is a "house money" game, then hopefully we can get on a run against the back half of the schedule, with Arizona mixed in.

As brutal as the final four series were last year, this year shapes up as well as you could hope.

Yeah, but I'll take 3 walks over 6 or more any day. We can work our way out 3 walks spread out.

Today is a great example... Im at Trinity Univ in San Antonio watching my last HS player in college for Rhodes. They got 5 runs in the 1st on 7 hits. Trinity then got 7 runs in the 1st on one hit (double) after 5 walks and 3 HBP... those walks bunched together make it real easy to have a huge innings.

Thank goodness Rhodes came back and won 10-9, then lost game 2 13-0. Good Division 3 softball lol

Yeah I remember Heavener had a game at A&M last year where she gave up 7 runs in the 1st on 1 hit. 5 BB and 1 HBP did her in. She has avoided that this year.

Lately it seems like her control issues have only been creeping up when she comes in in relief and it takes her a couple batters to find the zone. When she starts she usually has command.

Dang, I thought Oklahoma won like 100 in a row or something. It was a big old Indian gals out there hitting out a major league baseball parks home runs.
