Preston Guy on our QB’s

Preston guy went on a local podcast recently looking very sharp in a new dress shirt and shared his thoughts on spring practice so far:
-While he was there yesterday, only 2-3 balls hit the ground the entire duration of practice
-We have hands down the best QB room in the country
-LSU believes they have the best walk on in the country in the kid that plays QB from Uhigh - Picarella
-Landen Clark looked great and has real potential
-Sam Leavitt was slinging it, they were letting him throw the ball 50+ yards down the field on the money and he might be ready sooner than originally thought
My main concern is that Leavitt is dealing with the same injury Matt Mauck dealt with, and he never got all of his speed/explosiveness back afterwards

That’s great and we’re all ready to ride to the ship.
Nobody is gonna say we suck and we know reporters are gonna hype for ratings.

Everyone was under thrown. Sure it’s a timing issue but let’s not take this as gospel and a look in the future.

Preston is that you?

In all seriousness, I think Clark will be a stud and will be the change of pace QB that Kiffin likes to bring in throughout games

The Matt Moscona of Christian Life School.

Yeah, don't sleep on clark. It's going to be a battle after this year for the QB job. Dude threw a 70 yard td last year. And that's 70 in the air.

I get what you are saying, and everyone has a little trepidation on his recovery not being 100% but Mauck's foot injury was in 2002 and medical treatment and rehab has improved. I think he will be just fine, and Lane and Charlie will scheme to fit where he is in recovery.

Preston Guy is a make-a-wish kid. God bless him.

Here’s my silver lining. Our WRs are faster than the QBs thought, and will adjust with practice, and will throw bombs on the way to a NC.

Media was allowed at most 10-15 minutes and it mostly individual drills. Not sure how he can get all this without making assumptions.
