Brady did good for what he had in the first couple of years but at year 11 it was time for a change for everyone. lets just get behind the team and coach we have now

I have posted numerous times tht it was in the best interest of LSU and Brady to part company. Thre is no more avid supporter of Trent Johnson and this team than me. Tha tgoes for whatever team is representing LSU regardless of the coach.

You do realize it is not necessary for so many to make disparaging commnets about Brady when praising Johnson.

No its not necessary for others to put down Brady when praising Johnson but it happens when you go from last place to first place in a year. Did he have a few really good years in 11 years yes did he more bad ones yes. Did he have sanctions working against him? of course he did but he knew that coming in.

Take for instance when a company brings in someone after the previous boss left them in a bind. The new boss knows coming in that its not a perfect situation or the old boss would still be there. And at the end of the day if that new boss doesnt produce enough to the liking of the company he will be fired too. Can he blame it on the crappy situation the old boss left him? sure but at the end of the day it still falls on you. There can be a 1000 excuses and everything can be working against you but that happens in the business world at the end of the day you are still fired. I appreciate the final four year and the sweet 16 year but you are right in that it was in the best interest of both to part ways.

You realize Brady did the same thing in 2000 only he had not inherited the talented and experienced team Trent did. The only quality player Brady inherited in 1997 was Maurice Carter. Rogers Washington was decent, but never became a big time player.

Like I said I appreciate the good years he gave us and by saying what you just said you are downplaying Johnson's accomplishments. You give Johnson a few atta boys but then find some way to downplay it with Brady's accomplishments. I gave Brady his props but he is history, this team looks more disciplined and cohesive than it did the last 2 years and you cant argue with that.

My intention was not to disparage Trent Johnson. What he and the Tigers have accomplished is a signature achievement.

Since someone else had taken a gratuitous swipe at Brady I wanted to set the record straight and to emphasize the conditions Brady had to overcome to win his first SEC title one year after a last place finish. Actually Johnson di dnot take a team from last to first. LSU was fourth in the West last season.
