A new poll revealed that more Americans approved than disapproved of President Donald Trump’s strikes against Iran, with support being bolstered by Republicans.

quote:

Overall approval for the strikes stood at 43 percent, while 33 percent disapproved, indicating a 10-point net advantage for approval, according to the new poll from Politico and Public Me. The poll covered March 13 to18 and reported a margin of error of plus or minus 1.6 percentage points.

quote:

Partisan and ideological divides drove much of the gap, with self-identified “MAGA” respondents reporting 81 percent support and 7 percent opposition. Among Republicans who did not identify as MAGA, support registered at 61 percent, with 19 percent not supporting the strikes, according to the poll.

it’s gonna be an epic wipeout. I have never seen such a tone, deaf president. He believes that everything is going swimmingly here. Biden was tone deaf because he was mentally incapacitated. Hell maybe Trump is too.

Only polls showing Trump doing great are true. Everything else is fake news. You know this.

It really bothers you the public is in support of what we are doing doesn't it?

but you haven't allowed you TDS to morph into anti-US positions right?

What outcome are you hoping to get out of “what we are doing”?

Iran does not possess a nuclear weapon and does not posses enriched uranium to produce one

Iran's ability to produce missiles of certain types is destroyed.

Iran's ability to fund terrorism in the region is greatly reduced due to their need to focus their resources on their own country (and potentially what they still see as their military "need".

Iran's people are provided with an opportunity to change the regime that has been oppressing and slaughtering them. If they choose to take advantage of support for to whatever degree we can (could be after the fact of agreements).

straight of hormuz controlled by some coalition of countries that may or may not include Iran. Straight is open and free from attack or threat of attack by Iran or it's proxies.

Iran and the world re-recognize the superpower nature of the US and stop seeing us as a bunch of pussies who enter into agreements like the JCPOA only to allow them to contiue to lie and do whatever they want.
If the Iraning regime remains in control put the fear of (the real) God in them such that they decide maybe there's plenty for them to do in life that doesn't inlcude fricking with the US interests. Ever

I dont believe any. If they were close or within MOE maybe but none are. One poll shows 20% and next poll 80%. Its absurd and shows that polls are clearly biased on the audience they poll

So, like JCPOA?

So, a fantasy?
quote:

Iran's ability to fund terrorism in the region is greatly reduced due to their need to focus their resources on their own country (and potentially what they still see as their military "need".

Realistic. Agreed.

Just say regime change.

More fantasy.

If the Iraning regime remains in control

Their hardliners will be more hardline & have more ammunition to justify a nuclear deterrent.

sorry forgot one.

leave the operation with a more cohesive relationship with all of Iran's neighbors and proceed to continue with peace in the ME talks and agreements with far fewer threats that Iran will negatively insert themselves into the middle of. Make Iran and it's lying evil regime an even larger island onto itself in the midst of it neighbors than it is.
bonus points if/when it's citizenry revolts hopefully these neighbors will assist in the revolt because I believe they no longer want a neighbor like this lying evil regime

I already knew you disagreed with me before you asked the question.

your TDS has allowed you to become anti-US in terms of what's in our interest. I get it.
