This is a good point.
We had some absolute studs on the team last year. It was a great mix of top end talent and leadership, much like 2023.
In this era of college sports it is not realistic to have that kind of leadership and experience on a team year in and year out.
I’m not making excuses, it just is what it is. Look at other programs in the league- Tennessee is struggling, Texas folded in the postseason last year, same with Arkansas.
It’s more realistic that we have years like this one and 2024 rather than years like 23 and 25
