A lot of mediocre players from the portal, a few key sophomore pitchers not developing and underperformance from milam, curiel and arrambide

I think .500 in SEC play is a stretch. 13 wins would be a miracle at this point. Maybe just 10.

I think our confidence issue has to do with coaching pulling seniors for freshman defensive replacement. And constantly pinch hitting. Everyone feels like someone is better. Sometimes guys just need to play, and hit, and field, and get in an rhythm.

JJ put this team together. He missed badly on the portal guys. The regulars haven’t done much either. If JJ gets the credit for last year, he gets the blame for this year.
