Picked up a few trout in the weeks prior to the cold snap in the bays South of Catfish Lake, Lake Raccourci, Marsh South of Point au Chien. The trout were full of eggs. Still picking up a lot of undersized. Looks like the move South is starting. Anyone have any luck in the Fourchon area?

Water needs to warm up for the trout to move. The water temp is 64 in Grand Isle - needs to be above 68 for them to make a push. Haven't fished Fourchon yet this year; hopefully at the beginning of April.

Folks are catching from the bridges along LA1.

They need to put a limit on those things. I've seen some boats coming back with 50-60+ of really nice sized fish. Don't want those things to get overfished. I love them.

Whoever wants to clean that many of those fish should be able to keep them, based on how much of a pain in the arse it’d be to clean that many Sheepshead.
